I help organizations build stronger leaders and improve the operational systems that drive results. I’m a retired military officer with global experience in both government and corporate environments. Over the course of my military and civilian career, I’ve led, managed, and developed teams at every level across five countries.
My work centers on two ideas: developing leaders and improving operational systems.
In business, I’ve applied continuous improvement through Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and Hoshin Kanri planning to identify waste, remove friction, and build organizations that run better. My background includes certification as a Master Six Sigma Black Belt, but the real value of these tools isn’t the terminology. It’s the discipline of constantly improving how work gets done.
These ideas extend well beyond manufacturing or operations. The mindset of continuous improvement can shape how we lead teams, raise families, solve problems, and approach everyday work.
This site is a collection of ideas, lessons, and observations drawn from many disciplines in the pursuit of continuous improvement. Some come from operations and leadership. Others come from history, aviation, engineering, and daily life.
If something here sparks an idea, challenges an assumption, or helps you see a problem differently, then it has done its job.
Where I Tend to Help
Over the years I’ve found that most organizations struggle with a few common challenges:
• Leadership gaps between strategy and execution
• Processes that have grown inefficient over time
• Teams that are working hard but not aligned around clear priorities
• Good people who haven’t yet been developed into strong leaders
My work typically focuses on helping organizations clarify priorities, strengthen leaders, and improve the systems that drive day-to-day execution.
I’m still learning.
Come share the journey.
